Sure, the game's difficulty was a little bit over the top, but who the hell cares? This game was the tits back in 2016. I had to try this to see what all the fuss was about. MLG memes kind of faded out over the next few years, and barely anyone is talking about them, let alone making them. This game takes me back to those good old days, but I actually tried it during the peak of MLG memes. I was watching one of Vsauce3's Do Online Now Guys (DONG) videos (specifically the video Play With Your Mind!), and during the video he mentioned this game. I used to watch MLG memes up the ass back then, they were so random but so enjoyable. Remember those old MLG memes, like Snoop Dogg, 2spooky4me, and all those others? God, those were the days.

Williams and Champ Bailey, leader up and make the plays.God damn, I remember playing this game such a long time ago back during the late 2010s, when MLG memes were all the rage. Walton, Perrish Cox, Jarvis Moss and Lawrence Maroney - Orange up and play your hearts out. Players, especially you backups and rookies and running backs - I’m talking to you, J.D. Give the Jets something to think about, give the fans something to cheer about and give ’em, as Bonnie Raitt sang, something to talk about - Tim Tebow occasionally in the backfield with Orton, razzle-dazzle reverse flea-flicker plays, a fake punt and an onsides kick, safety blitzes, six-man defensive fronts, five wide-receiver sets and the creativity you promised.

Release that pent-up emotion as you did in the Patriots game last season. Be the first man onto the field as the team runs out. Then, it’s up to the Broncos, dressed in the old, lovable orange jerseys. Scream - especially those of you in the north and south stands - and stomp your feet on every Jets play in those circumstances, and make it difficult for them to hear the quarterback. Be quiet before the play when the Broncos’ offense is in that situation, and cheer your tongues out after every play. Stand on every third and fourth down, and every play in the red, er, orange zone, for the Broncos and the Jets. (I’ve been told by real fans they’ve been ordered to sit down on critical plays.)

On this Sunday, all you people who claim to be faithful loyalists of the Broncos come early, stay late, dress in orange (not blue) sweat shirts, jerseys, caps and jackets, wave the orange towels that will be distributed and get involved in the game. 1 Broncos fan, originated Orange Sunday in 1971 by buying every piece of orange cloth he could find, cutting swaths and giving them out at a game when the team needed a lift, and Tim McKernan led the yells on good days and bad bare-chested in his barrel through six Super Bowls. The Broncos have cheerleaders and a mascot who think working up a frenzy is attracting new Facebook followers.

No-shows barely are booed any more, and tickets are available at the windows on game day.Īttendees are as incomplete as their lame chant. The old mouthy, staunch South Standers have been transformed into meek, mellow moaners. Thirty years later, in 1998, the Broncos, with John Elway in his last home game, whipped the Jets in Denver in the AFC championship game.Īnother consequential triumph over the Jets starts with the crowd at the stadium, which used to be sold out, but now contains too many sell-outs - people who inherited their tickets and don’t understand or care about the Broncos’ history and how they can influence a game’s outcome people who moved here from the visitors’ city (in this case, New York or New Jersey) and bought tickets from season-ticket holders people who relax in the club-level seats and the luxury boxes and are concerned about the chill of the wine more than the thrill of the game and people who appear just before kickoff and disappear just before the fourth quarter. The only season the Jets advanced to the Super Bowl, with Joe Namath at quarterback, they lost to the Broncos. The Broncos are underdogs, again, at home against the Jets - whose coach, Rex Ryan, says his team is right on pace, at 4-1, to finish with the best record in the NFL.
